Each candle is handpoured in CBS, Newfoundland and made with:

• first burn
allow your candle to reach a full melt pool (melted wax touching or close to the edge of the container) this may take 2-3 hours
*otherwise this may result in future burn issues (like candle tunneling)
• trim the wick
before relighting your candle the wood wick should be trimmed to ~1/8" - simply pinch off the loose black bits from the top of the wick with your fingers before lighting (or use a wick trimmer)

always burn your candle within sight. keep away from flammable objects. keep out of reach of children & pets. keep wax pool free from dust & debris. burn candle on a temperature safe surface away from drafts. burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. stop burning candle when 1/2" wax remains.

I love that this candle doesn’t have a cheap scent as my husband finds those often irritate his nose but this one smells great and doesn’t overwhelm the senses!
My husband purchased a candle from Forest & Brooks for me while visiting NL and unfortunately the wick was faulty and it wouldn’t burn. So, I reached out to Forest & Brooks and they sent me a new one (free of charge) all the way to Alberta for the inconvenience which I really appreciated.

The candle throughly captures the scent of hiking in Newfoundland with its « mossy and piney undertones ». This is truly a staple scent and will continue to buy over and over again.
